
BIOGRAPHY
Married and father of three children.
Diploma of “Ecole Nationale D`Administration (E.N.A)” in 1990 - Finance and Economy specialty.
Before being appointed Consul General of Algeria in London in may 2023, he successively served as Minister-Counsellor to the Embassy of Algeria in Ankara - Turkey (1997-2002), Minister-Counsellor to the Embassy of Algeria in Prague-Czech Republic (2005 to 2010) , Minister-Counsellor to the Embassy of Algeria in Rabat – (Morocco) and Consul of Algeria in Oujda –Morocco.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in 1990, where he served as Head of the Diplomatic Career Management Office – General Directorate of Resources (1990-1997) and as Head of the Office in charge of euro – Mediterranean institutions - General Directorate of Europe (2002-2005).
He also held the post of Deputy Director for sustainable development- General directorate for multilateral relations/ MFA (2010-2013), Director of modernisation of diplomatic action and Director of Studies within the staff of the General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign affairs.
Besides Arabic, he speaks tree foreign languages: French, English and Turkish.
