Announcement of a Commemorative Ceremony to Honour the Memory of Our Revered Martyrs on 20 August 2026

On the occasion of the anniversary of National Mujahid Day, commemorated annually on 20 August, the Consulate General of Algeria in London informs all members of our national community residing in the United Kingdom that, in remembrance of this enduring national day in the proud and glorious history of Algeria, a commemorative ceremony will be held to honour the memory of our revered martyrs and to pay tribute with pride to our valiant Mujahideen.

The ceremony will take place at the premises of the Consulate General on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 12:00 noon, under the slogan:

“Following in the footsteps of their struggle, we march forward.”
